纽约球迷对姚明垂涎三尺(转载)
2008年1月10日，姚明驾临纽约麦迪逊广场花园，在比赛重创下个人得分赛季新高的他用自己那力拔山兮气盖世的表现征服了纽约的球迷。赛后，在休斯顿纪事报专栏作家费根大叔的博客里，竟然出现了大量的纽约球迷的留言，希望能得到姚明。看后觉得很有意思，看来纽约球迷对大姚很有爱啊。以下是本人对部分纽约球迷留言的翻译，和各位筒子分享。
Yao is not a cowboy or a banjo lover. Yao doesn't like lassos and armadillos. He doesn't want to be with hicks and small town folks. Yao is a big city kid. He should live and play in Manhattan for the KNICKS.
姚明不是牛仔，也不是乡村歌曲爱好者。他不会喜欢牛仔们用的那些套索，也不会对犰狳（美国德州特有的一种动物）感兴趣。他可不想和小镇上的乡巴佬呆在一起。姚明是在大城市长大的孩子。他应该住在曼哈顿，为尼克斯打球。

Jonathan if we don't get Yao our franchise will suck. I remember in 2002 China wanted Yao to play for the Knicks. What happened and why isn't Yao here. We love him doesn't that mean anything to Yao? If Yao played here in the East who could stop him? If Yao played here his stats will greatly increase. The Knicks' record would dramaticaly improve and we will dominate in the playoffs. The NBA wants Boston and NY to do well so maybe David Stern and convince the Rockets to trade Yao to NY. Or maybe you can write a column about it. Anyways I want Yao here sooner rather than later.

Look what Yao did to the Garden yesterday. Usually the place is quiet and listless except when fans chant fire isiah. Yesterday the place was ROCKING. We appreciate watching a GREAT center rule the paint growing up watch Patrick Ewing. Yao is wasted in Houston playing for a "city" that knows nothing about bb. Please trade Mr. Ming to our city!

I am a Yao Ming and NY Knicks fan. Yesterday I spent $1,500 for 2 tickets to see Yao play with my husband. I live in Flushing Queens, which is 30 minutes away from the Garden on the subway. My question for you is how can we get Yao Ming to join the NY Knicks. Yesterday you saw 19,000 plus people come out to see the game. At least 1/3 of the people were cheering for Yao Ming. Maybe more. Even Walt Clyde Frasier mentioned it on the telecast, which I tivoed as well. Now that shows Yao should play here for us because we love him. I propose a trade with Houston. Eddy Curry, Stephen Marbury, and draft picks for Yao Ming. Please pass this along to your GM. Yao will tear the East up and he will lead us to a title. Thank you.

It's now time for Yao to leave the JV league aka the Houston Rockets and join one of the marquee franchise in the NBA aka NY Knicks. I know we are not playing well right now but if we add Yao we'd be contender for the ECC. Boston, NY, and LA are the only teams people care about.

There is no reason why Yao is playing in Houston instead of NY. No body cares about Houston it's a small market for the NBA. Everyone cares about NY city and MSG is the center of the basketball world. It's called the Mecca of basketball. Yao needs to come play here. He should ask for a trade to the Knicks or sign here when he becomes a FA. It's a total waste for a star to play in a small city so no one can see his great back to the basket game.

Mr. Feigen,
Any chance Houston will trade with the Knicks so we can have Yao Ming? I want to built the Knicks around Yao like we did around Patrick Ewing in the past. I think Yao should play in NY because a lot of his fans are located here. Plus Yao plays really well on the big stage. He is made for showtime on the BIG stage - the MECCA OF BASKETBALL.
